Every project is an orchestra; the bid is where the notes it will play are written. From quantity take-off to the commercial offer and post-award cost control, we put every note in its place.
I am Rauf Bilgin, a civil engineer (MSc) from Istanbul Technical University. I have worked in bid management and tendering for 18 years, 17 of them abroad in Turkmenistan and Russia. I prepared bids for projects in Uzbekistan and the UAE remotely.
Those years taught me one thing: a project is like an orchestra. Dozens of crews, hundreds of items, a single tempo. An item missing from the bid is a wrong note that nobody on site can correct.
So I turned my own method into software: a bid and cost control system in which every item can be traced and every assumption changed. BiDoReMi grew out of that idea.
